A Study on the Effects of Boheotang

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effect of Boheotang, Kamiboheotang has been clinically applied after delivery, a series of experimental studies of which action on antipyretic effect, body weight instarved and refeeding rabbits, in rats after delivery, in
normal
rats, on red blood cell, hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit in starved and refeeding rabbits, in phenylhydrazine treated rabbits, in delivery rats, on serum prolactin concentration in rats were came into operation.
@ES The obtained results are summerized as follows:
@EN 1) The antipvretic effect of Boheotang and Kamiboheotang V was recognized when compared with control group.
2) Boheotang, Kamiboheotang and Kamiboheotang was remarkably should increasing effect of body weight in starved rabbits.
3) Body weight after dalivery was increased with Boheotang, Kamiboheotang and Kamiboheotang.
4) Red blood cell, hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit was increased with Boheotang, Kamiboheotang III and IV in phenylhydrazine treated rabbits.
5) In rat after delivery, red blood cell was remarkably increased with Boheotang, hemoglobin concentration and hematocrit was increased with Kamiboheotang I, Kamiboheotang II was showed increasing effect of red blood cell, hemoglobin
concentration,
hematocrit.
6) Serum prolactin concentration was not recognizing change with Boheotang.
According to the above results, it was confirmed that Boheotang was effect on compensation of nourishment after delivery, especially recovering effect on anemic state.
